ABOUT US

Hynertech Australia Pty Ltd (“HA”)  is looking to introduce the use of Liquid Organic Hydrogen Carrier (“LOHC”) technology to act as an efficient and safe form of hydrogen transport and long term storage into the Australian market. Australia is an excellent testing ground for testing LOHC technologies as it is following a hub and spoke strategy with the establishment of a number of efficient green hydrogen production hubs on the coast requiring access to efficient hydrogen storage and transport technologies. Over 40% of all green hydrogen projects globally have been announced in Australia.

HA has established a strategic partnership with Hynertech Co Ltd, the developer of a unique LOHC technology which has just been confirmed by Shell’s Game Changer programme in meeting key performance targets for this innovative technology. Hynertech’s LOHC technologies are now progressing with a number of commercialisation trials in heavy transport and marine applications.

HA is looking to establish a commercial scale LOHC Hydrogenation Project in the Oakajee Strategic Industrial Area in the mid west of Western Australia. HA being one of the founding participants at Oakajee where the hydrogen hub is looking to support a range of green hydrogen and ammonia production projects, taking advantage of the world class wind and solar resources available in the region.

Apart from LOHC technology provider Hynertech Co Ltd, HA is also partnering with ASX listed engineering firm Verbrec Ltd to both bring this hydrogenation project into production and qualify Hynertech equipment under Australian standards.
